AC Shadows Introduces Surprising Attack on Titan Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre collaboration that challenges conventional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including free extra story content for Shadows players.
Strange Questline Uncovered
According to the official release, "A strange confrontation draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of prohibited rituals and fearsome metamorphoses reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative features a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a secret cult.
The questline centers on "strange experiments and a monstrous enemy" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Changes
The preview highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser finishes with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Prizes and Extra Material
Players who finish the quest will acquire an special katana in addition to several objects secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

Third Free Story Content
This patch also brings the game's newest complimentary story content, titled "The Enigma."
